My name is Morten Gottliebsen, born and raised in Denmark, but have been traveling the world for the last 4 years and currently found myself a place to call home in Eastern Africa. Formerly the CEO of two different companies, the Marketing Director for an apparel brand, and a photographer, I have also swept floors at a local furniture manufacturer. In my spare time, I visit the slums and volunteer in coaching women’s empowerment and help with expanding their businesses.- Been coaching leaders the last 7 years

It was recommended by my manager to engage in the opportunity of having an executive coach, and I jumped at the chance since at the time I was dealing with some issues and uncertainty regarding my role. I had already tried to approach some aspects directly with my manager or colleagues but having an external/unbiased point of view can offer a lot of benefits.
Morten has a style which puts the client at ease but also does not allow the discussion to diverge too far away from the key problems. I entered a coaching program with Morten as I was selected to join the “Under Armour Talent Acceleration program”. Through answering questions about my coaching preferences and personality Morten got selected for me. This turned out to be a great fit.
We directly bonded: I remember me saying at the end of the first lesson that Morten would be a person I would love to go drink a beer with.
The coaching sessions always felt like a conversation with an interested and smart person and many of my work related “issues” , we found out, were also connected to personal stories and experiences. Morten managed to make me feel that I can trust him from the first session and he was more than just a business coach to me.
Out of the conversations we had, he managed to ask the right questions, so that I came up with the solutions myself. I left every session with at least 1-2 tips and learnings. The homework that i was given, I was able to incorporated in the week after the session.
